3. Maintaining the Machine Tool
The machine tool is a crucial component of a metal laser cutting machine; once the machine tool deforms, it will affect cutting accuracy and efficiency. To ensure the stability and longevity of the machine tool, it needs to be cleaned and lubricated regularly. The specific methods are as follows:
1. Check daily whether the power supply voltage matches the machine’s rated voltage to avoid unnecessary damage.
2. Check the machine tool worktable daily for any foreign objects or debris and clean them up promptly to avoid affecting normal cutting operations.
3. Clean the dust and debris inside the machine once a week, and ensure all electrical cabinets are tightly sealed to prevent dust ingress.
4. Clean the horizontal and vertical guide rails and gear racks once a week, and lubricate them promptly.
5. Check monthly whether the lateral and longitudinal rail scrapers are functioning properly; replace them promptly if they are not working correctly.
6. Check monthly whether all cutting torches are loose, and clean debris from the ignition nozzle to ensure proper ignition.
7. Replace the water tank and filters once a year to ensure the cooling system operates properly.
