1. Laser Equipment Modification How to Adjust the Laser Cutting Machine’s Optical Path – Adjusting the First Beam: Use masking tape to affix it over the alignment target hole on Reflector A. Manually jog the laser (please note that the power should not be set too high at this stage) and make fine adjustments to the base of the laser. Adjust Reflector A and the laser tube holder so that the beam shines directly into the center of the target hole, ensuring that the beam is not obstructed.
2. Laser Equipment Modification: How to Adjust the Laser Cutting Machine’s Optical Path – Second-Stage Light Adjustment: Move Reflective Mirror B to the remote control, then use a piece of cardboard to emit light from near to far, guiding it into the crosshair target. Since the far‑end beam is already inside the target, the near end must also be within the target. Next, adjust the near and far light spots so that they align—meaning, whatever angle you tilt the near end, the far end must follow suit. As a result, the crosshairs will be positioned at the same location at both the near and far ends; in other words, when the near end (the distant end) is aligned, the optical path becomes parallel to the Y‑axis guide rail.
3. Laser Equipment Modification How to Adjust the Laser Cutting Machine’s Optical Path – Adjustment of the Third Beam (Note: The crosshair should separate the left and right light spots). Move Mirror C to the remote control, guiding the beam into the target lamp. Once again, aim at the remote control and the remote control itself, comparing the positions: if the angle of the crosshair relative to the near end remains consistent with the position of the crosshair within the light spot, it indicates that the beam is parallel to the X‑axis. At this point, determine whether the optical path is diverging inward or outward; accordingly, loosen or tighten M1, M2, and M3 on Frame B until the left and right beams are fully separated.
4. Laser Equipment Modification How to Adjust the Laser Cutting Machine’s Optical Path – Adjustment of the Fourth Beam: Use a piece of masking paper and affix it to the laser output port, allowing the laser beam to leave a circular mark on the paper. Gently push the illumination lamp, then remove the masking paper to observe the position of the beam spot. Adjust the M1, M2, and M3 frames on C according to the situation until the spot becomes perfectly round and centered.
Laser Equipment Modification Focal Length Measurement Method: Use the focal length ruler provided by our laser cutter manufacturer, move the nozzle up and down along the 5‑mark on the ruler—this is when the light is brightest and strongest—then tighten the screw.
