  1. Regularly inspect the steel belt and ensure it is always properly tensioned. If it isn’t, any issues that arise during operation could injure people—and in severe cases, even result in fatalities. Though the steel belt may seem like a small component, problems with it can actually be quite serious.

  2. Inspect the straightness of the rails and the verticality of the machine every six months, and perform timely maintenance and adjustments if any abnormalities are detected. If this step is not carried out, the cutting results may be less than satisfactory, with increased errors that can compromise cutting quality. This is of paramount importance and must be done.

  3. Vacuum the dust and debris inside the machine once a week, and ensure all electrical cabinets are tightly sealed to prevent dust from entering.

  4. All guide rails should be cleaned regularly to remove dust and other debris, ensuring that the equipment operates smoothly. The rack gears must be wiped down frequently and lubricated with oil to maintain proper lubrication while keeping them free of foreign particles. Guide rails should be cleaned and lubricated on a regular basis, and the motor also needs frequent cleaning and lubrication—this allows the machine to track its path more accurately during operation, resulting in more precise cutting and higher product quality.

  5. Dual-focal-length laser cutting heads are consumable components on laser cutting machines and can become damaged due to long-term use.

Fiber laser cutting machines require regular inspections and maintenance. If any deformation or other abnormalities occur, you should know that the laser cutting head has sustained some damage and needs to be replaced. Failure to replace it will compromise cutting quality, increase costs, and may even necessitate secondary processing for certain products, thereby reducing production efficiency.
